ToTrans Logistics also helps its clients in cargo consolidation if they need it.

Cargo consolidation is a logistics process in which small lots from different shippers and / or for different consignees are combined into a single consolidated shipment. As a result of such a shipment, each of the co-tenants of the transport unit (truck/container) pays only for the volume actually used, in other words, the customers pay for the rent “on a lump sum”

After arriving at the consolidation warehouse, the cargo is registered. The warehouse worker fixes its weight and volume characteristics, the number of places, as well as the marking applied to the package by the forwarder or sender.

The logistician draws up a plan for loading the transport unit, after which the warehouse employees begin to place all the lots in a truck or container, in accordance with the plan.

During the stay in the warehouse, at the request of the client or on a mandatory basis (depending on the requirements of the warehouse), the cargo can go through additional stages of control and preparation for shipment: weighing, repacking, applying additional marking, etc.
